Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC)

Located in the heart of Broadbeach, just 500 metres to the beach and walking distance to thousands of accommodation options, GCCEC is Australia’s largest regional convention centre.

GCCEC is proud of its reputation as a world leader in sustainable meetings and events. Since the centre opened in 2004, GCCEC has strongly supported eco-friendly practices both operationally and in design.

  • Parking

    The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre carpark entrance is at the northern end of the building. Entry from the Gold Coast Highway is via a set of traffic lights, and entry from TE Peters Drive is via the ramp onto the main driveway. Parking is a daily flat rate of $12 (incl GST). GCCEC also uses a touchless parking app called ZipBy. ZipBy allows ticketless parking for visitors to GCCEC. Please download the app prior to arriving at the venue.

    Public transport: Line 777 bus is a 44 min trip.

  • From Brisbane airport

    Public transport: Getting to GCCEC from Brisbane Airport (domestic or international) will involve the AirTrain (1 hr and 33 mins, 17 stops), and a tram (45 mins, 18 stops) totalling about 2 hours and 15 mins.

  • Public transport

    Bus services: Buses frequently stop directly in from of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. The northbound stop is located 40m from the GCCEC’s accessibility ramp, and the southbound stop is located 90m from the GCCEC accessibility ramp.

    Tram/G:Link: The Gold Coast’s light rail is a 20km light rail system connecting Broadbeach to Helensvale via the entertainment and activity precincts. The G:Link is located directly in front of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (less than 150m away). Services operate seven days a week approximately every 7-15 minutes.

The venue has achieved ATIC Accessibility Certification and has developed a Welcome Story in collaboration with Autism Queensland which is the peak body for the provision of specialised education and therapy services for autistic children and adults. The venue’s Accessibility Guide has also been updated.
